2021 women’s leadership programs accepting applications

The Poynter Leadership Academy for Women in Media has transformed the careers of more than 400 women in news media and tech. Applications for the 2021 program are open. Three separate classes for Poynter’s 2021 program will be held May 2-7, 2021 (Spring), Sept. 26-Oct. 1, 2021 (Fall) and Nov. 7-12, 2021 (Winter) at Poynter’s campus in St. Petersburg, Florida. One application will seat all 2021 classes. ONA also opened applications for the 2021 cohort of the Women’s Leadership Accelerator, a tuition-free, yearlong program that supercharges the leadership skills of women working in digital media. Deadline for both programs is Nov. 30.
